Last year we were blessed to have our first Legion horse in the 150th Kentucky Derby, only 2 years after forming our partnership.
We set a goal to make it back this year somehow, some way and here we are with Drexel Hill in the Oaks and Flying Mohawk in the Derby!
We just ran 2nd in the Kentucky Oaks!
I promise you have never seen a group celebrate in the owners suite for a 2nd place finish more in your life!
DREXEL HILL proved to everyone what we already knew and that she’s got a heart as big as her entire body. She is so special to everyone associated with Legion Racing, Beckman Racing Stable, and of course Ben Curtis, who gave her an unbelievable ride.
